You just bought a new cream that is supposed to help solve all your skin problems and you can’t wait to try it. You go home and almost before you have taken off your shoes, you are off to the bathroom or your vanity table and within five minutes you have slathered the cream thickly all over your face.
Then you wait. You wait some more and look into the mirror expectantly. You keep checking up on your skin to see how it is doing. After half an hour, your skin is still looking shiny and still feels sticky. You start worrying. You notice that there is some sort of residue on your skin now. You rub at it and it comes off in little crumbly sticky bits.
You get frustrated. After a few more hours, you exasperatedly wash your face and leave a scathing product review for the cream. You feel disappointed and cheated and wonder whether you will ever find the right moisturizer. you are also contemplating the almost certainly imminent advent of deep wrinkles. Any day now.
Does this sound familiar? If yes, welcome, fellow skincare enthusiast, I have had the same problem and yes, I did find a way to fix it. If not, keep reading anyway, it will be relevant, I promise.
